Built for the five purposes of a church

Worship
We believe that we were created for one purpose: bringing God pleasure all the days of our lives. We do this through our worship.

Evangelism
We are committed to bringing lost souls into the fold and we will continue to do this until we meet our Master on the last day.

Fellowship
At HOD, we do church differently. Beyond the weekly gatherings, we are integrated as a family, with systems in place to be present in the lives of our members.

Discipleship
The Christian life is a journey. We have a mandate to help every member grow into Christ, hand-holding them from their salvation experience through to maturity.

Ministry
We believe that every HOD member is a minister of the gospel, with our pulpits ranging from the altar to the marketplace. Our greatest desire is to see everyone discover where God has called them and to stay there.

Our confession
As the host of heaven that cannot be numbered

The Household of David is the mountain of the Lord’s house
It is established on top of the mountains
And exalted above all hills
And all nations flow into it
Yes, many people and strong nations come to seek the Lord of hosts
In the Household of David
For out of the Household of David goes forth the Word of the Lord
And the worship of our King
And this day, this scripture is fulfilled in our eyes and in our ears.
