Good day, church.

I want to testify of God’s faithfulness in my family. During the August fasting, I brought several prayer points before God concerning my family. I asked Him for restoration and prayed individually for each family member, as well as for myself.

During the prayer session we had the week before the fast ended, Pastor gave a word: if you’ve been casting your net in a particular area without success, cast it again one more time. A few days after the fast, I received a text from someone I had been reaching out to regarding an opportunity for a group I lead to host a program at their school. He informed me that he and his team are now working on it.

Secondly, my mum, who had recently been promoted in her government job, had been praying for her posting to be closer to home. Her previous work location required her to wake up very early, which was inconvenient and had taken a toll on her health. This was one of my prayer points. After HGC 2024, on Wednesday, my mum received her posting letter, and it was to the exact place she had been praying for. Many people asked her how she managed to influence the decision, but all she could say was, “It is God.”

That same evening, my brother came home with the news that he had been invited for an interview the next day after months of searching for a new job.

As if that wasn’t enough, on Friday, September 13, 2024, my sister was promoted to a higher position with a significantly bigger salary.

Before this week, my dad had been quite discouraged about his business. But this week, his outlook changed as the business started picking up.

This entire week has been filled with congratulations, and God has truly restored joy to my family.
