Good morning Church!
My family and I experienced a devastating loss on March 26, 2024, when our 8-year-old son passed away. This sudden event left us shattered, heartbroken, and questioning Why!. Yet, we chose to hold onto faith, trusting in God’s promises.
During this challenging time, my wife joined the God’s Treasures – a community of women in HOD trusting God for the fruit of the womb. At one of their gatherings, Pastor Abigail gave her a word: God is a Restorer! God will restore…she will give birth to a son. This brought hope and encouragement to us; we took the word by faith, believing God would restore what had been lost. My wife became pregnant that same month.
Around the same time, was the Higher Ground conference, themed: “Restoration.” I reflected on the messages, aligning myself with God’s word. At 36 weeks, my wife went into labor, and we rushed to the hospital. Less than 30 minutes later, she gave birth to a baby boy on May 26, 2025, at 12:36 AM – a remarkable coincidence being my birthday.
This miraculous birth is a testament to God’s faithfulness and restoration. Despite our loss, God brought joy and new life. I praise God for His commission, “Household of David” and acknowledge the mighty things He is doing here. I encourage you: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” God is faithful and able to restore what has been lost, bringing joy and celebration to those who trust in Him.
Praise the Lord!
Hallelujah!
