I stand in awe and deep gratitude to God Almighty, whose timing is perfect and whose faithfulness never fails. My husband and I have been trusting God for a job for me for over a year now. I have applied to different openings with no interview invite. At a point as a HR professional, I lost confidence in myself to write my own resume and instead started to consider contracting it to someone else.
Fast forward to the May 2025 edition of Mercy Encounters, that day I came with the attitude of Jacob in Genesis 32:24-29 where he wrestled with God…. And as Pastor was decreeing, my faith was stirred and I key into every declaration.
Monday morning the following week during my quiet time, doubts crept in suggesting that I should contract my resume writing to someone if I want to land a job, but then I heard a voice inside me “I will not share my Glory with any man” and that was the conviction I needed.
That week for the first time in almost a year, I applied for three different job openings, and one of them reached out to me on the phone after about 3 days, and that alone felt like a miracle. I knew then that God had gone ahead of me. Within a week—yes, just one week—I received two interview invitations from the others.
The interviews came with peace in my heart and confidence I couldn’t explain. I kept declaring that God is not just on time—He’s never late. Within just two weeks, I received an offer letter. I was employed! In less than a month from Mercy Encounters, God turned what seemed like a dry season into a testimony of divine speed and provision.
I am living proof that when God steps in, everything changes—quickly, beautifully, and undeniably. It is indeed my Season of Divine Appointment
