Good morning, church!
I want to thank God for His incredible mercy and faithfulness in my life. This testimony is long overdue, but God’s goodness is always worth sharing.
Last year, I received a triple promotion at work, which led to me relocating out of Lagos. I had shared that testimony before, on how God helped me settle into a new city and new role. While I was out of Lagos, I was determined to never miss special programs like Mercy Conference and Higher ground conference. So I traveled to Lagos just to attend physically.
Just a few days after the Higher ground conference last year, I got another surprise; a double promotion, and was asked to return to Lagos! Normally, I was supposed to be in the previous role for at least 18 months, but God fast-tracked my move. I worked the role for only 9 months before the new opportunity came.
When I returned to Lagos, I started acting in the new role with the understanding that it would take about a year before I’d be confirmed. But then again, barely six months in, I got confirmed on the role. God really accelerated my journey and gave me favor beyond expectations!
Also, a few days before this year’s Mercy Conference, I was seriously ill and even hospitalized. My hands were swollen from all the drips, but I made up my mind not to miss the conference. During one of the sessions, Pastor Bolaji prayed for those who were sick. While he prayed, I felt intense heat in my hands, and the pain even worsened at first, but by the next morning, the swelling and pain were gone, and I was completely healed! It was the first time I experienced divine healing like that.
And lastly, during the April edition of Mercy Encounters, Pastor Sola prayed that people would get engaged before the end of May, and to the glory of God, I got engaged to the love of my life in May!
Honestly, everything I’ve experienced; from career breakthroughs to healing and engagement, has only been by God’s mercy. I’m so grateful to God.
All glory to God! Hallelujah!
