Good morning Church,

This is my testimony: God is good, and Faith still works mighty wonders.

I had been searching for a new job for a long time, believing God for it. I prayed, I cried, and honestly, I lost hope at some point because I wasn’t even getting interviews. Meanwhile, my current job was suffocating — either there was constant fighting between colleagues or the boss was deducting salaries for reasons we knew were valid but still painful.

Fast forward to April’s edition of Mercy Encounters and Pastor said we should give God 30 days. On the 22nd day, in May, I got an interview. I was so happy! I passed the first two stages, but before the final stage, I got an email saying recruitment was complete. I held onto God’s word.

A week later, the same company emailed me saying they needed 5 extra people. I said, “Yes, this is my time.” But they still didn’t pick me. I cried again and even started wondering, “Was it not me Pastor was talking about? Did God add extra days to my 30 days?”.

Still, I kept applying because I knew my current place was not for me. I got another interview — no call back. Applied again. That same day, I was invited for a meeting. It went well, and I was told if I passed, I’d go for the final interview with the bosses. I said, “God, this one is on You.”

That Wednesday, Pastor Damola preached on Faith. It lit a fire in me. I stopped saying, “I will get the job,” and started declaring, “I have gotten the job!”. People of God, I got the final interview message, did it, and on Sunday morning, I woke up to a congratulatory message: “You have been offered the job!”

 The Lord has done it finally! I got the job! Hallelujah!
