Good morning, church!
Today, March 30th, 2025, God did something that made me shout, “Oh my God!” an experience that further solidified my faith in Him.
I learned software engineering through a student loan, but repaying the bank has been a heavy burden. It takes about 31% of my salary, and after tithing and settling bills, I’m left with little to nothing to get by. The accumulating interest made it even harder to cover much, so I desperately sought a way out. The only solution was to find help from a friend, pay off the bank, and then gradually repay my friend. But the question was, “Who do I ask?”
Yesterday, after Mercy Encounters, Pastor Shola prayed for singles. Before that, he led us in a prayer for mercy and favor. After the prayers, I felt a deep sense of peace.
Then, this sunday morning I woke up about 40 minutes before my alarm. But instead of feeling tired, I was unusually strong. Out of nowhere, I jumped up and began praising God. Then, I started speaking in tongues. As I was praying, the name of a particular friend was strongly impressed on my spirit. I heard a soft but clear instruction: “Ask him.”
“Ask him?? How can I ask this man for ₦1.5 million just like that?” I thought. My mind was already restless, overanalyzing how he would respond. I decided to ask later in the afternoon.
But as I was getting ready for church, I heard it again: “Ask him this morning.”
Ah!! Omo! Okay, I gave in and sent him a very incoherent voice note. I wasn’t even sure what I was saying.
Within five minutes of stepping out of my house, I checked WhatsApp and was shocked he had already replied. I opened the message and saw a screenshot with the caption:
“Pay back ₦1 million when you can.”
Ah!!!!!!
At first, I thought it was a joke because I quickly glanced at the amount and saw ₦1,500. I asked him, “Did you even listen to my voice note? I asked for ₦1.5 million.”
He responded, “Yes, I did.”
I checked again ₦1.5 million was truly there.
“Oh my God!” was all I could say.
This might not seem like much to some, but for me, this is a HUGEEE testimony! I’ve always prayed for the day I would share something like this.
Please help me praise my good God! Hallelujah!
