In November 2023, I attended Mercy Encounters with a heavy heart. I had relationship troubles as a single lady and just couldn’t hold back my tears—I needed my own man, a man designed for me. As funny or cliché as that might sound, it was the cry of my heart.

God heard me…He gave me a word in Psalms 23 vs 2 saying “I will lead you beside still waters”… I clung to this promise, meditating on it daily. I even wrote it on a sticky note and placed it on my wardrobe, so I was reminded of His promise every single day.

Fast forward to January 2024, God answered my prayers in ways I couldn’t have imagined. He blessed me with a beautiful man, a man after His own heart, from the Household of David!. When I looked back at the list of qualities I had written in my journal about my future husband, I was amazed—every single quality was there, and God even added extras. He truly surpassed my expectations and blew my mind with this man.

A few months later, we got married, and my heart is filled with gratitude. I want to thank the Household of David for raising my husband in the ways of the Lord. Above all, I am deeply grateful to God for fulfilling His Word in my life.
