Good day church,

I want to thank God for showing me mercy. Several years ago, I graduated from university with the hope of getting a good job. I got a job but it wasn’t good enough. I kept on trusting the Lord and I held on to this scripture “for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” I decided not to settle for less.

I got a bank job in 2022 as a contract staff. I had so many challenges with the job that it got to the point where I wanted to resign. There was a time I called my deputy HOD while at work and he gave me this scripture Isaiah 61:7 “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours”. I wrote the conversion exam last year and I came out successful to the Glory of God. I resumed as a full-time staff member last month. God answered all my prayers. I want to thank God for fulfilling His words in my life. The Lord turned my mourning into dancing, He removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy. MY JOY HAS COME!

Secondly, I was having accommodation problems last December but God graciously provided a place for me to stay. I thank God for His unending mercies in my life.
