Good morning church,

I moved to the United Kingdom in 2023 with my family on a student visa. Fast forward to late 2024, my wife had finished her master’s and our visa validity was almost running out. All efforts to secure a sponsored visa till that time did not yield. We were only left with the option of a post-study visa. For a family of 4, a post-study visa would cost up to £12,000, which I did not have. I knew the only way out for us was for God to show us mercy. We prayed, we fasted, and we believed it’s either God helps us or He helps us, there is no other option.

Our visa was to expire on the 20th of January. Our first miracle came when a company that had initially said they would not sponsor my visa eventually offered me sponsorship. The sponsorship came on a code that would not allow my wife and children to be added on. We thanked God for that win, knowing that God who did the sponsorship regardless of the code would perfect what He had started.

One Sunday morning during the online service, while preaching, Pastor Sola said: “have you ever found yourself removing your shoes where your house is and speaking to the ground around you? He said the earth can hear and he referenced a case of a family that was about to be ejected from Germany. They were given a word to go back to their house, stand on the ground barefooted, and speak to the ground”.

With faith, we ran with the instructions and did the same.

We had applied for, and submitted our visa application regardless of the code I was sponsored on. We believed God through the whole process and believe that our case will be treated differently regardless of the home office policy on adding dependant on my sponsored code.

To the glory of God, all our visas came out without any clause. Only God could have done this and we return all the glory to Him.
